Mr. Buffett runs the Buffett Foundation, which is an entity from which he disperses his charitable contributions. The Foundation's money doesn't just sit in a money market fund, however. Rather, much of it resides in stocks that Mr. Buffett has selected. These stocks are not the major holdings of Berkshire Hathaway, but rather other issues in which Mr. Buffett is interested. There are over 200 stocks in the Buffett Foundation holdings, and you just might want to know what they are. Some of Berkshire Hathaway's star performers started out as modest holdings in the Buffett Foundation.
Subscribers to BuffettWatch will have access to the entire list of the Buffett Foundation holdings, with information on how to contact the companies, view their investor information online, obtain their annual reports, and comments from Mr. Clark and Ms. Buffett.
Some of these stocks may eventually jump in importance in Mr. Buffett's plans. You should know what they are, so you can decide for yourself if they warrant further attention from you before Mr. Buffett makes them famous.
No... We already told you that BuffettWatch will only present information that is publicly available. IRS law requires that Mr. Buffett report these stocks. Our job is to gather the information for you.
