When will you write me?

When Berkshire Hathaway makes a major new purchase, like its recent purchase of Dairy Queen, we'll write, but you probably will have heard about that anyway. When else will we bother you?

When the Securities and Exchange Commission makes public a substantial stock purchase that Mr. Buffett has made for Berkshire Hathaway, we will be there to find out and report. Certainly not all of the significant purchases that are made for Berkshire Hathaway make the front page of the Wall Street Journal. But we'll find them for you.

When new information is available about the Buffett Foundation holdings, whether there have been additions or subtractions to the stocks on the Foundation's list, we'll let you know that there is new information in that area to peruse on BuffettWatch.

We will also write if there has been a major reorganization of the BuffettWatch site, or substantial editorial updates by Mr. Clark and Ms. Buffett.

We anticipate that you will be contacted infrequently--certainly fewer than 10 times per year. But it's nice to know that someone is watching the horizon for you!
